My name is O-O O. I’m a OO-year-old Aquarius who is passionate, serious and responsible. I graduated from OO University of O and O, where I majored in International Business Management.

I have been committed to my career from an early age: I worked at a hypermarket from 20XX to 20XX while I was in university. I took orders well and developed an efficient routine.

Afterwards, from 20XX to 20XX, I worked at an after-school tutoring center. My role was to take care of students and check their homework.

In school, my performance was excellent, not only in academic terms, but also my participation in community activities.

While I might have less experience than others and there is still a lot of room for growth, I’ll make up for it with my enthusiasm for work – I’ll always do my best.

In the face of our rapidly changing environment, I have continued to cultivate a diverse range of skills and a good work ethic to make sure I stay relevant.

The economy is sluggish and there are likely many competitors for this job, but I guarantee that I’m the most enthusiastic candidate. Please give me the opportunity to prove to you that I’m definitely the right person for your company. I’ll always work hard and try my best to live up to your expectations.

How you format your name is very important. The widely used standard for Chinese names is to write it out as you would in Chinese, which is last name followed by given name (e.g. “O O-O”). If you prefer to start with your given name, do not use a comma before your last name, which can lead the reader to assume your given name is your surname.

If you’re not sure about how to write the name of an organization in English, it’s often best to refer to their website. The same applies to titles or degrees, which can usually be found on university websites. If you can’t find a proper translation on your own, search online or ask someone for help. Putting Chinese characters in an English-language letter will leave your audience assuming that you do not have command of the language. In a worst-case scenario, work around the problem by removing it.

Cover letters, or autobiographies, are an opportunity for you to tell your story. Like any good story, it’s important that it has a natural flow. Organize what you want to say in a way that moves from one point to another.

Native speakers of the English language use contractions when speaking and writing. For example: I am = I’m. Contractions will look and sound more natural to fluent English speakers.

While it is the norm in Taiwan, sharing your astrological sign (Aquarius) is not common in English-speaking areas in the West. Depending on your audience, doing so could even be a bad thing.

“Servitor” is a male servant. You also want to avoid the word “servant,” because it has a negative connotation in most cases.

It’s good to have a SWOT analysis. However, you shouldn’t directly state that you’re presenting one. It’s better to integrate it into your “story” and make it sound more natural.

Whenever you present a weakness, always present a solution, which you did.

While it’s good to acknowledge threats, you want to focus on the positive. As this is your opportunity to “sell” yourself to an employer, you need to make yourself the most attractive candidate possible.
