Loewe was a mecca for royalty, aristocrats and others of discerning taste who became loyal customers, and in 1905, the company was rewarded with the title “Supplier of the Royal House” by King Alponso XIII.
In 1940, a number of Loewe boutiques opened in succession. The display at Loewe stores was an extraordinary spectacle for the senses and they were admired as authentic artistic creations. Loewe continued to expand its collections, but has never lost sight of the original ideals of Enrique Loewe Roessberg. New production facilities were set up in Barcelona and the company gradually widened its distribution network, spreading throughout Europe and beyond, including Asia and the United States.
