About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced AVP/VP, Business Reporting and Operations to join our GlobeSend TW team. This role will be crucial in driving data-driven decision-making through comprehensive business reporting and insightful analysis, particularly focusing on transforming unstructured data into actionable insights. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing robust reporting frameworks and contributing to the strategic growth of our GlobeSend business in Taiwan. Key Responsibilities: MIS Data Management & Incentive Computation: •Pull and aggregate Management Information System (MIS) data from various sources. •Build and maintain accurate reports for the computation and analysis of sales incentives. •Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reporting related to incentive schemes. Business Analysis with Structured Data (ADA): •Leverage structured data within our Advanced Data Analytics (ADA) platform to perform in-depth business analysis. •Identify key business trends, performance drivers, and opportunities for improvement. •Develop and present actionable insights to stakeholders. Business Analysis with Unstructured Data & Data Structuring: •Conduct comprehensive data cleaning, compilation, and analysis of current raw, unstructured data from various systems. •Identify significant trends, patterns, and anomalies within unstructured datasets to inform strategic decision-making. •Develop methodologies and processes to translate unstructured data into structured formats suitable for ADA ingestion. •Collaborate closely with the Data Chapter to discuss potential migration of structured data into ADA and optimize data management processes.
Requirements: Experience: •Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, preferably within the financial services industry. •Proven track record in managing and analyzing large datasets, both structured and unstructured. •Experience with MIS reporting and incentive computation is highly desirable. Technical Skills: •Strong proficiency in data extraction and manipulation using SQL, Python, R, or similar tools. •Demonstrated experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). •Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and big data technologies. •Experience with or understanding of Advanced Data Analytics (ADA) platforms is a plus. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: •Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into clear, concise, and actionable insights. •Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in dealing with data quality and structuring challenges. •Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Communication & Collaboration: •Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. •Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Sales, and IT. Education: •Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field. A Master's degree is a plus.
