The CRESA Finance Specialist is responsible for financial planning, budgeting, cost control, and forecasting related to Corporate Real Estate and workplace operations. This role works closely with Regional leadership and all COOs to ensure effective budget governance, accurate occupancy cost allocation, and financially optimized real estate and workplace operations. The role also supports office operations, employee experience initiatives, and manages external service vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Strategy & Cost Management: Support occupancy cost optimization through tracking and analyzing OPEX, CAPEX, and portfolio cost trends, providing insights for investment decisions.
2. Financial Planning & Control: Manage budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and accruals, ensuring alignment with Group Finance standards and strong governance.
3. Data Analytics & Insights: Develop dashboards and portfolio metrics to assess utilization, efficiency, and cost benchmarks, while improving data quality and automation.
4. Financial Modelling: Build business case models (lease vs. buy, relocation, capex) and evaluate P&L and cash flow impact.
5. Stakeholder Support: Partner with Group Finance and business teams to translate analysis into clear, decision-ready insights.
6. Process & Governance: Enhance reporting efficiency, strengthen controls, support audits, and streamline cost allocation methodologies. Team Support: Contribute to performance tracking (scorecards) and team initiatives.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field- 5–8+ years of experience in CRESA/CRE Finance, Budgeting, Forecasting, or Cost Control- Experience supporting Corporate Real Estate, Facilities, or Workplace Operations is a strong plus- Proven experience working with Regional leadership and senior management / COOsStrong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights- Solid experience in vendor and contract financial management
