Join us as a Demand Planner and play a key role in driving business decisions through data-driven insights — this is a 1-year contract opportunity with strong exposure to FMCG operations and cross-functional collaboration.
1. Develop and manage demand forecasts for FMCG products by integrating historical sales data, promotional activities, and market trends to improve forecast accuracy. 2. Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and channel teams to capture insights on new product launches, promotions, and market dynamics. 3. Participate in the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process to align demand and supply plans. 4. Conduct regular analysis of sales performance (sell-in / sell-out), inventory levels, and demand trend, and provide actionable recommendations. 5. Monitor and manage forecast performance (Forecast Accuracy & Bias), and continuously refine forecasting methodologies and tools. 6. Support new product introduction (NPI) forecasting and track post-launch performance. 7. Prepare demand analysis reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support management decision-making.
Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Statistics, Supply Chain, or a related field. 2. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in demand planning, sales forecasting, or supply chain roles (FMCG industry preferred). 3. Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis). 4. Good command of English with the ability to support cross-regional communication and presentations. 5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle high-frequency sales data and generate insights efficiently. 6. Excellent cross-functional communication skills, especially in working with Sales teams. Preferred Qualifications 1. Experience in FMCG, retail, or distribution industries 2. Familiarity with promotion and trade promotion analysis 3. Experience with demand planning systems (e.g., SAP APO, IBP, Anaplan)
