The PPC is a key project-coordination role that supports PDMs and PJMs in driving product development. The role connects engineering, manufacturing, and supply-chain teams to ensure schedules, samples, BOMs, documents, and action items are executed smoothly.
This role is ideal for professionals who want to begin in hardware project coordination and progressively develop into Project Manager and Product Manager roles.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Support PMs/PJMs in maintaining development schedules, milestones, and action items, and follow up on execution progress. 2. Coordinate sample requirements, material readiness, pilot builds, and NPI progress to meet development milestones. 3. Maintain and track BOMs, part numbers, ECR/ECN changes, and related product data accuracy. 4. Support the NPDP process and organize, update, and archive project documents across development stages. 5. Coordinate across PM, EE, ME, SE, BIOS, FW, SW, DQV, PMC, manufacturing, and supply-chain teams. 6. Arrange cross-functional meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and track owners, due dates, and open issues. 7. Help identify schedule, material, quality, and coordination risks and escalate them to the PM/PJM in a timely manner. 8. Assist PMs with project closure, document-completeness checks, and lessons-learned consolidation. 9. Support Intel, AMD, FPGA, and Gaming I/O product-line projects based on organizational priorities.
* Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and consistently follow through on ution. * Strong cross-functional communication, issue-tracking, and teamwork skills. * Experience with BOMs, part numbers, ECR/ECN, or PLM/ERP systems. * At least 1 year of experience in electronics, hardware development, project assistance, NPI, PMC, or product project coordination. * Experience with IPCs, motherboards, embedded systems, or other electronic hardware products. * Basic understanding of NPI and EVT/DVT/PVT-to-mass-production processes.
