Responsibilities: •Strategic Leadership & Change Management: Independently own and lead impactful initiatives designed to streamline branch operations and significantly enhance the customer experience. Develop and implement strategic solutions to improve efficiency, customer satisfaction, and drive key performance indicators (KPIs). •Data-Driven Optimization: Leverage advanced data analysis to identify key insights and report on KPIs, ensuring optimal resource allocation and process improvement to meet evolving customer needs. Your strategic insights will be crucial in shaping our future. •Innovation & Process Improvement: Develop, implement, and champion innovative solutions that proactively address customer pain points, improve processes, and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory landscapes. We value fresh perspectives and creative problem-solving. •Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across various teams and levels to ensure seamless and efficient branch operations. Mentor and guide branch operations teams in their day-to-day tasks, providing crucial support and direction. •Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all branch operations and systems maintain strict compliance with local regulations and DBS group policies, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks. •Knowledge Transfer & Development: Conduct informative and engaging training sessions on various topics, including security awareness, exceptional customer service, and new branch operational processes and system enhancements. Foster a culture of continuous learning within the team. •Digital Transformation Leadership: Play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation projects, enhancing branch efficiency, creating a superior customer experience, and leveraging technology to optimize processes. •Operational Excellence: Continuously identify and implement strategies to optimize processes, maximize efficiency, and reduce operational costs. We encourage initiative, proactive problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous improvement. •Proactive Problem Solving & Issue Resolution: Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve operational challenges, proposing and implementing effective, data-driven solutions. Your ability to manage multiple priorities and handle unexpected situations will be key to your success. •Daily Operational Management and Reporting: This role includes the responsibility for the day-to-day management of branch operations, ensuring compliance with established procedures and standards. The incumbent will prepare and submit regular operational reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to senior management. •Business Continuity Planning & Execution: Contribute significantly to the development and execution of the business continuity plan, ensuring the resilience and readiness of branch operational processes.
Requirements:• Minimum 3 years' experience in a relevant role, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of bank branch operations, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity is highly preferred.• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of using data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach are essential.• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with proven success in building and fostering collaborative working relationships across various teams and levels.• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a calm, composed, and efficient approach to problem-solving.
