【Job Description】 We are searching for a passionate and driven Account Manager to join our growing team. The role will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of SME clients with cross-border payment and foreign exchange (FX) needs. This role focuses on deepening client relationships, understanding their international trade flows, and driving FX transaction volume while delivering best-in-class service.
【Responsibilities】
1.Portfolio Management & Revenue Growth •Manage an assigned portfolio of SME clients engaged in import/export or cross-border business. •Drive FX transaction volume and revenue through proactive client engagement and identification of new business opportunities. •Conduct regular portfolio reviews to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities for FX solutions or other banking facilities. •Monitor client activity to ensure healthy wallet share, retention, and utilisation of FX facilities. •Prepare revenue forecasts and client plans to ensure actual portfolio performance is on track to achieve the overall business objectives. •Activate dormant/inactive business clients by encouraging them to transact •Drive referrals through clients/partners to bring in incremental business
2.Client Relationship Management •Act as the primary point of contact for all FX-related matters, ensuring responsive and high-quality service. •Build strong long-term relationships with business owners, CFOs, and finance teams. •Understand clients' unique business needs and challenges related to foreign exchange, and provide tailored FX solutions. •Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, customer support, compliance, treasury and operation to ensure a seamless customer experience. •Stay informed about the latest advancements and trends in the payments industry.
3.Risk & Compliance •Perform periodic KYC and CDD/Triggers reviews for assigned clients. •Timely response to all RFIs (request for information) •Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. •Monitor for unusual activity and escalate where required.
【Skills & Qualifications】• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field.• 2–5 years of proven account management or sales experience. (Preferably in SME banking, FX sales, cross-border payments, or treasury services.)• Strong relationship management and communication skills to build rapport and trust with clients.• Prior experience in a telemarketing, bank, fintech, or payment institution preferred• Wailing to learn about or already have good understanding of FX products and the foreign exchange market. (Preferably in SME banking, FX sales, cross-border payments, or treasury services.).• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
