英文履歷好簡單掌握三句話原則(上)

要英文寫作時，你永遠都面對著這三個困擾：
1. 我的文法對嗎？2. 表達得夠清楚嗎？3. 我寫得好不好？
只要融會貫通這三步驟，確實把握這些寫作訣竅，就能夠寫出道道地地，原汁原味的「英文作文」。

英文寫作的原則，如同人生其他的定理：原則不變，一以貫之！在求職或申請學校時，需要寫履歷自傳，但怎麼寫呢？還是要回到英文的溝通習慣：重點先講，細節隨後！運用「三句話」原則，可歸納出寫履歷的三項基本要素：

最重要的話：求職的目標
最具說服力的細節：有利的學經歷
最令人印象深刻的總結：個人化的特點
最重要的話：求職的目標（Objectives)

從雇主的角度來看一封履歷，最重要的話當然是你求職的目的是什麼？要找的工作性質與內容是什麼？是不是切合雇主的需要？因此在一開始交代姓名與基本聯絡資料之後，就可以直接說明申請工作的目標。因為是最重要的話，所以要簡潔有力，重點清楚，最好不要超過三項，每項1-2行。

以下是一位出版社編輯的求職目標：

Objectives

• Position sought: a Chief Editor’s role in a publisher where I can maximize my editorial and marketing experiences to develop integrated product portfolios for various language learning publications

• Job responsibilities: buying book rights from abroad, seeking potential writers,managing editorial process, writing copies for products, and creating marketing strategies

• Career goal: “to Bring World Languages to Taiwan and Bring the Chinese Language to the World.”

最具說服力的細節: 有利的學經歷（Education and Experiences）

既然有了清楚的求職目標，接下來就要提出有力的證明，詳細交代過去相關的學經歷，佐證自己是有能力完成工作的最佳人選。因此求職目標之下，可進一步說明相關的各項專業經歷（Professional Experiences）。請注意，條列專業項目的原則仍然是重點在前：最重要、最相關的先說！

各項工作經驗的說明，必須簡潔扼要，條理一致。先交代公司雇主、職位職稱、雇用時間之後，可以分項條列的方式凸顯重點。以下提供同一編輯的部分專業經歷及學歷說明，作為範例。請注意，學歷和經歷相輔相成，兩者的先後順序可就申請的目標來決定。如果是申請學校，最好要把學歷放在前面（請參考 14.1 節申請學校的說明）。

Professional Experiences
ABC Publishing Co., Taipei, Taiwan Editor June 2009 –

• Propose and develop language materials for English, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean,and French learning.

• Review and buy rights of foreign publications and create Traditional Chinese or bilingual editions.

• Work with book writers, editors and illustrators and create language learning materials for different levels.

• Manage book publication process, from editing, proofreading, publishing to marketing.

DEF Publishing Co., Taipei, Taiwan English Editor September 2007 – May 2009

• Translated articles and edited GEPT/TOEIC test preparation series.

• Planned and designed Freshman English and Freshman English Listening and Speaking textbook series for vocational colleges in Taiwan.

• Delivered presentations to school teachers and received adoptions from school.
